Over 1,500 litres of alcohol with an estimated value of £8,000 were seized by Customs Officers and gardai on Thursday night from a lock-up premises in south-west Dublin.

According to the Revenue Commissioners, 1,040 litres of wine, 234 litres of vodka and 275 litres of beer were confiscated as part of continuing operations targeting sales of alcohol on which no VAT or duty has been paid. No arrests were made.
