Lions stars Richard Hill and Rob Howley have been ruled out of next Saturday's deciding Test against Australia in Sydney.

England flanker Hill was concussed during yesterday's 35-14 second Test defeat in Melbourne, while scrum-half Howley suffered a cracked rib and will also play no further part on tour.

Fly-half Jonny Wilkinson has his lower left leg in plaster and has remained in Melbourne ahead of seeing a specialist tomorrow morning.

Only after that assessment will the Lions' management have a clearer picture of whether Wilkinson can face the Wallabies in six days.
