Jelena Dokic hit out at the Australian tennis establishment today when she finally committed herself to playing for Yugoslavia.

Dokic, five days after her 18th birthday, said she had been driven out of Australia, for whom she played as a junior.

"I was pushed out of Australia by the media and Tennis Australia. I felt they really wanted me out," she told New Ideamagazine.

Dokic played for Australia at the Sydney Olympics last September and moved with her family - father Damir, mother Ljiljana and brother Savo - to Florida in January.
