A meeting to inaugurate the Irish branch of the International Society of Doctors for the Environment is to take place in Dublin. The society represents more than 540,000 doctors in over 100 countries, according to Dr Elizabeth Cullen, one of the organisers. The meeting will take place on Saturday, December 13th, at IMO House, 10 Fitzwilliam House, Dublin 2, at 2 p.m. There will be speakers on the environment and health, genetically engineered food and microwave hazards. Admission is free.
