DCC has purchased 1,038,311 of its own shares, representing 1.29 per cent of its issued share capital.
The buyback was done at a price of €17.90 per share and at a total cost of €18.8 million - including stamp duty and commission.
The purchased shares are to be held as Treasury Shares.
DCC has now bought back a total of 10,247,231 shares, 11.61 per cent of its current issued share capital, since July 2000 at an average price per share of €11.23 and at a total cost of €116.5 million, including stamp duty and commission.
