An Irish internet services company has announced plans to create 33 new jobs in Bandon, Co Cork.
Newsweaver, a company that provides software to enable companies publish and send electronic newsletters to their customers, will invest €700,000 in research and development.
The new jobs bring the company's total workforce to 61.
Minister for Trade and Commerce Billy Kelleher said the investment is significant for the entire region.
“Over the next ten years, services will be the key driver of Ireland’s economic success and job creation and Newsweaver is a prime example of the type of Irish internationally traded services companies that can be part of that wave," he said.
Newsweaver’s Andrew O’Shaughnessy said he was “grateful to Enterprise Ireland for their continued support of R&D”.
