Cocaine seized in raid in Louth

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €900,000 has been seized at a house in Co Louth.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €900,000 has been seized at a house in Co Louth.

Local gardaí, accompanied by members of the National Drugs Unit, found 11.5 kilograms of the drug in house in Charleville, Dunleer, earlier today.

A man (54) was arrested and taken to Drogheda Garda Station.

A cocaine press, used for packaging the drug, was also recovered.
