The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Catherine Byrne, has sent a letter of condolence to her counterpart in London, Ken Livingstone, in the aftermath of Thursday's bomb attacks.
The Lord Mayor will open a book of condolences in the Mansion House this morning at 11am. It will remain open between 10am and 4pm until Friday. The book will then be forwarded to the British embassy.
"I believe the people of Dublin would welcome the opportunity to express their sympathy to the families and relatives of the people lost in this disaster," said the mayor. People can also express their sympathies in books at the British embassy in Dublin, and Derry city's Guildhall.
