Nicholas McLachlan, born in 1960, is from Dublin and now lives in Ventry, Co Kerry, with his partner, Abigail Joffe, and their two sons, Rowan and Jesse. His poems have been published in Cyphers, Poetry Ireland Review, Force 10 and other journals. In 1999, he won the Martin Healy Short Story Award with his story Hands. He is director of Dingle Writing Courses.
