London - The BBC will take the unprecedented step of broadcasting a government television commercial today - in a move to offer blanket coverage for a millennium anti-drink-drive campaign.
The Transport Minister, Lord Whitty, said: "We are delighted that the BBC has agreed to take part in the simulcast of this thought-provoking millennium drink-drive advertisement."
