The group Families Against Intimidation and Terror and an Ulster Unionist Assembly member, Mr Peter Weir, have condemned a paramilitary attack on an 18-year-old man who was beaten by three masked men at Kilcooley Square, Bangor, Co Down, at 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Mr Vincent McKenna of FAIT urged the community to pass on any information about the incident to the RUC.
