Ardfheis antiques

An antiques fair was in progress in one section of Dublin's RDS last weekend as the Shinners held their annual ardfheis in another. The antiques were dressed in tweeds and silks; the pols in Armani and glitz. At the entry to the car-park, all were stopped and asked which event they were attending. Those who said antiques were waved through; those who said ardfheis had their cars searched.
