Another rowing gold for Ireland

The lightweight coxless pair of Gearoid Towey and Tony O'Connor captured another gold medal for Ireland at the rowing world championships in Lucerne today.

The pair came home ahead of the Netherlands who finished in second spot with the Italian pair coming third.

Towey and O'Connor's success comes after a great day for Ireland yesterday which saw gold medals won by Sinead Jennings and Sam Lynch in their lightweight single sculls events.
