Nairobi - The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Andrews, will seek a progress report on the inquest into Brother Larry Timmons's death as part of a four-day visit to Kenya starting today, writes Declan Walsh.

Tomorrow Mr Andrews will travel to the mission where Brother Timmons was shot dead by a policeman in mysterious circumstances in 1997.

Mr Francis Kimanzi, a policeman, claimed he was firing warning shots at a group of fleeing robbers and did not intend to hit Brother Timmons.
