A bomb, blamed on "agents of America and Zionism" exploded in a western area of Baghdad last night, injuring one civilian, the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced.
The explosion occurred at 8.50 p.m. local time in the run-down al-Dhahab district, according to an Iraqi News Agency bulletin that was broadcast on local television stations late today, interrupting regular programming.
The statement blamed "agents of America and Zionism" for the bombing and said authorities were investigating the incident.
