Former republican and loyalist prisoners in the North should not be disqualified from fostering, adopting or minding children, Father Tony O'Riordan, of the Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice, in Dublin, has said. Nor should they have to give details of their convictions when applying for a mortgage.
