AC Milan coach Alberto Zaccheroni has been sacked.
"AC Milan has relieved Alberto Zaccheroni of his responsibilities as the team's coach," the club said in a statement.
Zaccheroni's future was in doubt after the 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruna on Tuesday which eliminated AC Milan from the Champions League.
Zaccheroni had been coach at the club for three years.
