The National University of Ireland has announced awards in excess of £500,000 annually for scholarships for staff, students and graduates of the universities and recognised colleges of NUI. They include post- doctoral fellowships in the humanities, sciences and Irish studies worth £40,000.
The awards are funded largely from income generated from trusts and bequests.
