*All the wayThe Wayfarers Association's 30th annual Blackstairs Walk takes place along the Carlow-Wexford border next Saturday, May 22nd. The 28km walk, which you'll need about nine hours to complete, is open to suitably equipped, experienced hillwalkers over 16. (And to anyone aged between 12 and 16 with an experienced adult.) * Dog dayThe Irish Blue Cross is holding the first of three Bark in the Park walks tomorrow at St Anne's Park in Raheny, Dublin. (Be at the Sybil Hill Road entrance at 2.30pm.) Supporters of the charity and their dogs are welcome to join in and make a donation. There'll be a four- kilometre pawprinted route around the park, and participants will receive a certificate of participation and a doggy bag. Awards will be made to the best bark, the waggiest tail, the shiniest coat and the happiest smile. Call Jenny on 086-1704730 or see barkinthepark.ie.
