Loop WalkSouth Tipperary Tourism invites you to join in the Grange-Crag Loop Walk tomorrow. This 6km guided loop, with its Victorian Ice House and Wellington Monument, looks down on Kilcooley Abbey and has views across Tipperary.
The meeting point is Hogans pub car park, Grange, at 1.30pm. Boots and raingear required. Light refreshments will be provided afterwards and small donations will be taken to support the development and marketing of walks. Contact Con Ryan 087-0556465.
Mountain runThe second Dublin Mountains half-marathon is taking place tomorrow at 10am. The event, sponsored by Basecamp, starts and finishes in Marlay Park, and winds its way through Massy's Estate, Cruagh Wood and Tibradden before joining the Wicklow Way. Wild WexfordThe National Parks and Wildlife Service is running free family events in July and August. These include nature walks, pond dipping and bug hunts at the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve and the Raven Nature Reserve.
