Routes to avoid during the week ahead
DUBLIN: Construction works on O'Connell St. Two lanes remain open, for construction of new carriageway and footpaths as part of redevelopment program.
Sandyford Rd closed from Main Street, Dundrum to Wyckham Bypass, for realignment of Sandyford Road.
Section of Oldcourt Rd in Tallaght closed. Expect delays on Mount Venus Rd. Alternative routes are via the Oldcourt Rd (R113). Ballycullen Rd, Killinniny Rd and Oldcourt Rd (R113) or via the Oldcourt Rd (R113), Killinniny Rd, Ballycullen Rd and Oldcourt Rd (R113).
Works on N7 between Citywest and The Poitin Stil, part of N7 road widening and interchange scheme.
Races at Leopardstown Racecourse on Sunday: first race at 1.05 p.m. and last race at 4.45pm. Delays likely in the Leopardstown area.
KILDARE: Road widening on N7 Dublin-bound between Kill and Blackchurch, for third lane on N7. A 65 km/h (40 mph) speed limit in place. City-bound lanes slightly narrowed.
Roadworks in Naas on Dublin Rd, Fishery lane and at Maudlins interchange, in connection with N7 road widening and interchange scheme.
LOUTH: Old Dundalk-Ardee Rd (N52) closed for construction of Dundalk Western bypass, 1.25km southwest of junction with Knockbridge Rd southwest for 300m. Alternative route to Dundalk: N52, N1 Southern Link Rd to Carrolls Junction, Dublin Rd, Hill St, Dundalk.
SLIGO: Link road between Carraroe roundabout and Tonafortes Rd closed. Alternative route via Old Tonafortes Rd junction with N4 north of Carraroe roundabout.
LIMERICK:L8054 Liskilly Road, Patrickswell, closed from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. for installing a watermain as an extension of the Coshma Group Water Scheme. Diversions are clearly signposted.

TIPPERARY: Expect delays on N24 at Carrick-on-Suir due to drainage works. One-way system west in direction of Limerick from junction of N24 with Ashpark to junction with O'Mahanoy Ave.
KERRY: L40550 at Sheen Bridge, Kenmare is closed for repairs until 5 pm Friday February 4th. An alternative route is signposted.
CORK: Delays likely on N20 between Rathduff and Mallow, for construction of new "2+1" scheme. (Where road is divided into two to prevent overtaking, a central median is installed.)
Watercourse Road closed outbound from O'Connell Street to Blackpool Bridge.

North Main St closed at junction with North Gate Bridge.
TRAVEL: Due to annual refit, Stena Line HSS sailings on Dún Laoghaire/ Holyhead route are suspended until 11.10 am Thursday, February 10th.
On Saturdays, Sundays (and Bank Holiday Mondays), DART upgrade works will take place between Pearse and Howth/ Malahide.
No DART services between Pearse and Howth/ Malahide. Buses will operate on Dublin Bus routes adjacent to the Northside DART: routes 29A - 31 - 31B - 32 - 32A - 32B - 42 - 42A - 42B. Full DART services will operate between Pearse and Bray/Greystones
