Eco-friendly motorcycle:Yamaha is currently developing the world's first dual-fuel motorcycle. The environmentally-friendly bike will have the ability to switch between petrol and an eco- friendly fuel such as ethanol.

The drawings show a full-sized fuel tank fitted above the engine and tucked tightly behind the cylinder.

Below the fuel injector body is a second tank designed to contain either ethanol or a petrol/ethanol mix.

A body kit which will transform your MV Agusta Brutale is now available. The bike was revealed as a concept at the 2007 Paris motorcycle show and the kit has since been refined to make it suitable for the road.

It uses the standard MV Agusta frame, engine, swingarm, suspension and electronics but comes with a unique tank, seat, front mud guard and lights, plus a radiator surround that extends behind the front wheel.

It fits any Brutale 750, 910, 989 or 1078 and is €6,390.

Brutale Body armour for biking launched

The latest development in motorcycle equipment comes in the form of custard-like body armour in jackets.

The CE-approved armour, which is soft during riding but hardens on impact, is being used by Racer in its new range of jackets. There are six jackets in the range, all of which are waterproof with thermal linings.
