The final 15 apartments at a redbrick apartment development on Stoney Road, Dundrum, are being released by Vincent Finnegan Ltd this week, priced from £260,000 (€330,130) for two-bedroom units.

Altamont Hall, once the home of former Ireland rugby international Karl Mullen, is a three-storey scheme in two separate blocks, surrounded by mature cedars and horse chestnut trees. Chief among its attractions will be proximity to Dundrum village and the impending LUAS, and the fact that it will be within easy striking distance of the Southern Cross motorway when it is completed.

One block will be ready in three weeks' time, the other at the end of May, according to the selling agent. The apartments on sale from today are the final few in the 52-unit scheme, which has been selling quietly by word-of-mouth over the past three months.
