Tower Homes, who built the successful Skerries' Rock development, are launching a brand-new scheme nearby at Kelly's Bay. Prices start at £131,995 for a two-bedroom townhouse, going up to £168,995 for a 1,240 sq. ft four-bedroom semi. Selling agent Hooke & McDonald will be staffing the show-houses this weekend. The new scheme is located just off the coastal road, the second turn left past Skerries Rock. It's about a mile north of the village centre. Viewers going out to look at the Kelly's Bay scheme could drive around Skerries' Rock - finally completed this year - to see Tower Homes' standard of finish first-hand.
A total of 44 two and three-bedroom townhouses and four-bedroom semi-detached houses will be for sale in this initial launch and these houses will be ready to occupy from June this year. The entire scheme of 116 houses and duplex apartments is expected to be completed by spring 2001.
Two-bedroom townhouses of 900 sq. ft are priced from £131,995 and will undoubtedly appeal to first-time buyers. Three-bedroom end terrace houses of 1,147 sq. ft cost from £147,995 and four-bedroom semis of 1,240 sq. ft are from £168,995. Buyers have a choice of kitchen and wall tiling and all the bedrooms, which have fitted wardrobes, are generous sized. Gardens will be levelled and seeded to the front.
The houses are arranged in a series of cul-de-sacs with plenty of open spaces around the development.
Skerries is an attractive location for families, with its seaside atmosphere, clean beaches and rail and bus links to the city.
