THE SWISH DÉCOR in the bedroom of the new homes on the grounds of Slade Castle in Saggart (see page 8) was created by Fiona Cleary of House and Gardens Presentation Services (01 201 1712). The Maroc four-poster bed, €1,200, establishes an atmospheric sleeping zone with texture added to the room courtesy of the black rattan woven armchair, price €350. The carved Champaka plantation wood lockers are called Marrakech Cut-out Cubes and cost €160 each. The black glass lamps are €280 a piece. The contemporary mood continues in the lounge. A Parisian lacquered dining table and four matching chairs costs €1,000 while the Nest coffee table, price €400, cleverly echoes the tactile nature of the circular shag rug underneath, price €280.
