Delgany: from €1.65m Glenair Manor, a new development of luxury homes in Delgany, Co Wicklow, is being sold off the plans through Hassett Estate Agents.

There are nine houses in the development with prices ranging from €1,650,000 to €1,925,000. These are very much executive homes at the upper end of the new homes market and buyers have a choice of three house styles to chose from.

All have five bedrooms as well as spacious living areas and are positioned on the riverside so that only four houses face each other.

The smallest of the house styles, Coolagad, has 330 sq m (3,552 sq ft)over two storeys.

Downstairs there is a livingroom, diningroom, study, family room and a kitchen/diningroom with separate utility room.

A special feature is the curved conservatory and a large entrance porch.

Upstairs two of the five bedrooms have en suites and the main bedroom also has a walk-in wardrobe. All the bedrooms are doubles and the internal layout of the house includes a minstrel's gallery so that the upstairs landing is bright and spacious.

The detached double garage is accessed via a covered walkway.

All five bedrooms in the 403 sq m (4,337 sq ft) house are doubles with en suites; the main bedroom has a substantial dressingroom.

Downstairs, the kitchen is a curved room with a spacious dining area off it and it opens into a large family room.

Other rooms include a formal livingroom, diningroom, study and a timber conservatory. There are covered porches to both the front and back of the house and again, a covered walkway opens into the timber-clad double garage.

The largest house style has 410 sq m (4,413 sq ft) of space. Again there are five bedrooms, all with en suites.

The main bedroom also has a dressingroom and the house has the same number of reception rooms as the mid-size house, all flowing into each other in a way that is designed to appeal to families.

Standard features at Glenair include fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms, hardwood joinery as well as moulded cornicework in the reception hall and livingroom.

The houses are traditional in their design with sandstone sills, a render and brick finish and timber panelling to garages and selected elevations.

Another feature in all houses are cathedral-style vaulted roof lights.
