Louis Copeland, with Sean McGrath of Wicklow-based Insitu Design Ltd, has gone for slightly dark hues in the interior of the four-bedroom house. The carpets are Irish made and 100 per cent wool in muted tones while the hall flooring is in French oak.
The fireplace in the livingroom has a black slate insert with brass surround, the walls are a mushroom colour and the settees are in stone. In the diningroom the table is handcrafted in solid cherrywood and glass and surrounded by six cream chairs. The long kitchen has a wood-panelled ceiling at one end and sandstonestyle flooring. A sunroom has a ceramic tiled floor and a large Velux window; a family/TV room has a royal blue settee and oak floor.
The main en suite bedroom has dark gold walls and a white cover on a kingsized bed, white chairs, a cherrywood table, and a walk-in dressingroom. Another bedroom is a pale grey with offwhite fitted wardrobes, and a fourth is peach-coloured.
