One of the first shops to be offered to let on a new lease in Dublin's Henry Street, Lawrence's jewellery store, has come on the market through Druker Fanning and Partners. There is no indication of the premium being sought. The premises have a floor area of 2,500 sq. ft, including a 1,200 sq. ft shop which has a valuable return frontage on to the GPO Arcade. Neil Love of the letting agents says the letting will undoubtedly set a new benchmark for Zone A rents in Henry Street, currently around £180 per sq ft. A rent at this level would equate to £145,000 per annum. The premium to be paid will be dependent on the rent agreed.
