Building work has already commenced and houses are due for completion later this summer and apartments in the autumn.

Designed by architect O'Mahony Pike and developed by Pierse Homes and Firestone Developments, Eden takes advantage of the beautifully mature grounds of the former convent in which it is set.

The apartments will be set behind the period convent and boarding school building, which are to be restored and probably turned into offices.

A tree-lined drive opens onto the convent gardens with fountains and water features. Layout of the site will also include a secluded courtyard. Interior fit-out is of a high standard at Eden. Kitchens will have Franke sinks, Neff double oven and hobs, as well as other white goods.

Apartments will have high-gloss cream kitchens with quartz worktops, while kitchens in the houses will have black granite work tops.

Recessed down-lighters will be provided in kitchens, bathrooms and en suites and a feature stone fireplace comes as standard in livingrooms.

Car-parking spaces will be provided for residents and additional visitor car-parking will be catered for.
