International goes looking for extra large retail outlet

THE slowdown in the UK retail market has not deterred some of their multiple traders from looking for new business opportunities in Ireland. The latest company seeking a store in Dublin is the Scottish-based women's fashion group, International, which has 50 outlets in the UK and the North. However, it is unlikely to find it easy to secure a Dublin base: International is looking for a store of 15,000 to 20,000 sq ft - a size not readily available in the city.
