Meanwhile, buyers interested in French leaseback schemes should go along to the Westbury Hotel this weekend, where Jackson-Stops will be launching two new leaseback projects by French holiday operator La Grange.

The first is in a refurbished building in St Cyprien, a seaside resort overlooking a golf course near Perpignan. Prices start at €124,000 for a studio apartment and completions are expected from April to June this year.

Another La Grange leaseback is a new-build scheme in Bergerac in the Dordogne region, where one-bedroom apartments start at €83,000.

The exhibition will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
