Frank Daly is finally to meet the property and construction industry on April 12th when he is the guest speaker at the official launch of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCS).
The Nama chief can expect to have lots of them bending his ear, considering that the new organisation has up to 5,000 members through the amalgamation of the IAVI and the SCS.
John Curtin, the first president of the new organisation, will also adress the vast gathering in the Aviva stadium, just days after that organisation moves into its new HQ on Merrion Square, previously occupied by the IAVI.
The move is being orchestrated by director general Ciara Murphy who will have the task of merging two old organisations – the SCS dates from 1895 while the IAVI has been in business since 1922.
