Dublin 24: The first 50 units at a new development at Citywest in Dublin 24 are being released for sale this week through Douglas Newman Good with prices starting at €195,000.

The Belfry, which is being jointly developed by Durkan New Homes and Hollioake Ltd, will eventually include nearly 500 apartments, duplexes and townhouses when complete.

Two-bedroom apartments in this phase are from 51 sq m (550 sq ft) and start at €195,000. Three-bedroom duplex townhouses of circa 108.5 sq m are priced from €259,500 and three-bedroom townhouses of 93 sq m (1,000 sq ft) cost from €265,000.

The Belfry is near the N7 and the M50, and it will benefit from the arrival of the Luas line from Tallaght to Dublin city centre which is due to open next year. Retail facilities at The Square in Tallaght and the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre are a short drive away.

A new golf course at Citywest has recently opened for business while the nearby Citywest Business Park is the local employment hub.

The development has plenty of landscaped open areas and ample surface car-parking.

It is designed in two and three-storey blocks with a part brick, part colour render front elevation.

Standard features at The Belfry include Nolan fitted kitchens, fitted wardrobes, feature decking to patio areas, Nordic pine French external doors, gas-fired central heating in all townhouses and Gold Shield electric heating in all apartments.

All three-bedroom townhouses have the main bedroom en suite, as do some of the three-bed duplex units.

All townhouses also have a feature fireplace and some of the three-bedroom homes have good-sized balconies.

A model of the development is available for viewing at the Citywest Hotel off the Naas Road from noon to 5 p.m. today, and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
