£3m five-acre housing site is beside Haughey's Abbeville

Malahide agent O'Farrell Cleere is likely to secure in excess of £3 million for a housing site of five acres at Kinsealy, Co Dublin. It is about 200 yards from the entrance to Abbeville, the home of former Taoiseach Charles Haughey. The site is zoned residential and can accommodate up to 50 houses, according to Paula Costello of the selling agents. The same agents expects to fetch about £500,000 at auction on December 2nd for a site for one house on 2.5 acres opposite the main entrance to Malahide Castle. land is zoned for residential use and is being sold subject to the granting of planning permission for a large two-storey house. Meanwhile, a site with planning for eight apartments in Malahide village has been sold at auction for £770,000. McPeake Auctioneers handled the sale of the site at Gas Lane, near Malahide Marina.
