A 12-ACRE residential site at St Loman's Hospital, Lucan, in west Dublin, is expected to make in excess of £1 million when it is auctioned on Feburary 28th by joint agents Gunne and McDonald Brothers. The land is located along the main Galway road, directly opposite the Hermitage Golf Club. Access to the site is from Ballyboden Lane. Zoning for the site will allow a residential development and a planning application was recently lodged for 128 three-bedroom semi-detached houses.

Ronan Webster of the Gunne agency anticipates that there will be strong interest in the land, not only from housebuilders but also from other developers.

Development sites have been particularly scare in the greater Dublin area over the past two years because of the strong recovery in the new housing market.

The St Loman's Hospital site adjoins a small residential development and is well located for commuting to the city centre.
