£1.5m quoted for Swords pub and three-acre site

A RETAIL development opportunity will arise in the centre of Swords, Co Dublin, next month when The Harp Inn bar on three acres goes to auction. The Gunne agency is quoting a guideline price of £1.5 million-plus for the premises and adjoining land, which is to be auctioned on May 23rd. The bar, which had a net turnover last year of £940,000, is owned by Mr J. C. Savage, who runs the Lord Mayor bar and a local shopping centre.
