Health tip of the day: eat avocados to improve skin

A rich source in monounsaturated fat and vitamin E

Most people won’t need much encouragement to eat more avocado these days with it consistently being hailed as a good, healthy fat (in moderation, of course). Avocado toast has never been more popular.

However, if you’re not on the bandwagon yet, avocado has more benefits to it than just being more healthy than other fats. They are rich in monounsaturated fat and vitamin E, both of which promote healthy skin, and are particularly good if you have dry skin, heading into the colder months. Try adding them to salads, sandwiches, or even smoothies.
