Stardust, featuring Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter, are funking up dance-floors around the world with their mega single, Music Sounds Better With You, on Bangalter's own Roule label.

The new Manic Street Preachers single, If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next, out on August 24th, is a catchy, sloganeering slice of Welsh power pop, containing this line of unassailable logic: "If I can shoot rabbits/then I can shoot Fascists".

Paul McCartney has given his first interview since the death of his wife, Linda, from cancer last April. McCartney has granted the interview to Viva Life, an animal rights newsletter, and the ex-Beatle speaks mostly about vegetarian issues and why he is carrying on his wife's campaigning work.
