Sweet sessions

THE annual Dublin sean nos bash, Sean Nos Cois Life begins tomorrow week (Friday 18th), with a session in The Trinity inn, Pearse Street, at 8 p.m., and continues with a special edition of the Goilin Singing Club. Singing and sean nos dancing lessons will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with experts from the different Gaeltachts. The Saturday night gig at Club an Chonradh on Harcourt Street is usually a sweaty and emotional night of wonderful singing, while the Sunday afternoon session at 4.15 p.m. at Hughes's Pub on Chancery Street is more demure.
