Share the horror of Friday 13th

It’s Friday the 13th, a date associated with inflicting horrors on movie audiences.

So, perfect timing for award-winning comedy writer (and former Hot Press film reviewer) Graham Linehan to launch his Bad Film Club online. It begins at the bottom of the barrel with M Night Shyamalan’s wretched The Happening, one of the worst movies of the 21st century.

“At exactly 9pm, myself and some like-minded Twitterers will be pressing ‘play’ and blogging our responses to the magic as it unfolds,” Linehan explains. “Now, this is uncharted territory for me, and I have no way of knowing whether it’ll work, but dammit, it’s worth a shot, isn’t it?”
