APC is one of the really large multinational organisations which operates out of Galway and, being parent company of Gotec, has a deep interest in Poland.
The company is involved in the computer components and systems industry and has a large sales force spread across eastern Europe and Poland, which is currently their largest customer in this area.
In a country where there are regular fluctuations in the power of their electricity supply, APC ensure that their computer systems are not brought to a standstill, by supplying them with their UPS systems which regulate the power and can sustain the computer systems which sometimes have to operate under very difficult conditions.
At present, APC are watching developments in Poland very closely and have Polish employees working with them in Galway. To give an idea of their global involvement in the computer support industry, they provide support in 18 different languages.
