New Vevo service

YouTube and Universal Records are reportedly joining forces to create a website that is expected to dominate the online music video market.

Vevo, which is now in development, is expected to launch later this year and will act as an offshoot of the main YouTube site. It is believed that Vevo will act as a portal to host videos by artists signed to Universal Records and other major labels.
