Scottish musician James Yorkston will play a gig at Dublin’s Workman’s Club next weekend as part of the venue’s Prosperous Market event. The all-day market starts at 2pm next Saturday, and will see various stalls selling hot food, cakes, vinyl, crafts, books, comics and more.

The music starts at 3pm and will run until 11pm, with Yorkston headlining a bill also features Cavan songwriter Lisa O'Neill, his fellow Fence Collective cohort Seamus Fogarty, fiddler Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, poet Pat Ingoldsby and more.

There will also be a complimentary whiskey-tasting and storytelling event in the adjoining Bison Bar during the day.
