Dublin’s Temple Bar Gallery and Studios are hosting their annual Summer Lightning fundraiser tomorrow night, with a music bill featuring both new and established names from the Irish underground indie and alternative scene.

Art-rockers Thread Pulls and synth-rockers Dark Room Notes will be joined by Bloody Ends, Ana Gog, Withering Zithering, singer-songwriter Clang Sayne and punk-funkers Lamont/Bailey/Wall. There will be accompanying visuals by James Kirwan and a DJ set by the Skinny Wolves label afterwards, and the event is BYOB.

This is the third year of Summer Lightning, which manager Edel O’Reilly says is an important event in the gallery calendar and goes towards supporting a year-round free admission programme. “It’s our annual fundraiser as well as a chance to throw a party for everyone who comes and supports what we do,” she said.
