What's your pre-gig ritual/ routine?Couple of drinks and some food from our rider. Sometimes we go for a jog.

How do you get to the gig – limo, taxi, walking?We have too much stuff to walk, so we usually take a taxi.

What's the best gig you've been to?Saw Future Shuttle and Tezeo at the Stone venue in NYC a few weeks ago. That was really good.

And the worst?Moby's DJ set at Decible.

What are your favourite and least favourite venues?Panorama Bar or Plastic People in London are our favourites; least favourite is playing in cafeterias in American colleges.

Who is the most famous person to show up at one of your gigs?Michael Stipe is the most famous that we know of.

Most embarrassing on-stage moment?Wearing the same colour shirt, pants and shoes and not realising it until we saw a photo of us playing.

What's your crowd-pleasing number? Lover.

What's the most you've ever paid for a gig ticket?$30 to see Kode 9.

Chatting between songs – good or bad?We don't have a mic, so we don't worry about this. Chatting can really go either way, can be brilliant, can be really embarrassing.

Groupies. Would you?Yah.

How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs (ie, how big is your entourage)?Just us, no frills.

Have you a special stage wardrobe?Nope, we just wear what we normally wear.

What's the worst thing ever thrown at you?Nasty words from a guy in a Motörhead T-shirt.

If you could be in any other band, which one? It'd be cool to be in Huey Lewis and the News or Steely Dan.

Who's invited to your aftershow party?No psychos.

What's your best tour story?Picking up Robert Miles on a sailboat in Ibiza.
