There are many ways of dealing with writers’ block and in the case of Swedish pop magnifico Robyn, this meant intensive writing sessions with regular collaborator Markus Jägerstedt and DJ Christian Falk.

The result of these encounters are to be found on a new set of songs which aim for euphoria and pretty much hit the mark every time.

Robyn’s penchant for wonky pop and melancholic disco bangers ensures this mini-album swaggers and sways.

But you can also make out the contribution of her collaborators in the finely drawn melodic arrangements underpinning the title track (with guest vocalist Maluca running things), Set Me Free and a great Loose Joints’ jam on Tell You (Today). Sadly, we’re unlikely to see any more from this project as Falk died last summer after a short illness.
