TRACK OF THE WEEK: Shakeby Little Boots. Hurrah! After a two-year hiatus, Little Boots is back on track. Shakewas made in collaboration with Simian Mobile Disco, and is as much influenced by the 1990s as her earlier stuff was by the 1980s. There's a synth riff, naturally, as well as Boots' token happy-sad lyrics. If you're not singing the hook by the third listen, then your ears aren't working.

Good newson the Frankie Saturdays front. Her representative has issued an update: "Frankie is still ill and she's taking her time to recover. Under doctor's orders she is only permitted to attend tour rehearsals.

“She’s easing herself back into things with the group but will be appearing on the tour which starts at the end of this month.”

While it’s still not clear what the nature of Frankie’s illness is, Frankie’s decided she’ll speak about it soon, responding to one of Twitter followers with: “I am going to defo talk about it. Maybe in the new year.”

Jay-Zhas begun to work on his child's education already, according to GQ. In an interview the rapper proclaimed that he was going to introduce his and Beyoncé's baby to "a lot of other records, all pivotal, important records. There'll be Ready to Die,there'll be Illmatic." When asked how hands-on he will be in other areas of child-rearing, Jay confirmed that he will "100 per cent" be changing nappies. Though the couple have remained tight-lipped on the sex of the bump, Kelly Rowland recently let slip that it might be a girl.

Jay's not the only onewith babies on his mind – Katy Perry's gearing up to have a sprog too. Speaking to Ellen de Generes, K-Pez confirmed that "I would love to have children. I think that's one of the reasons you get married, especially to the person that you marry. You think: 'That person is going to be a good partner, a good parent'." Be prepared for a Perry army though, guys. Katy added that "if it doesn't hurt the first time I'll keep popping them out."
