Mark's no celebrity

Fall frontman Mark E Smith has revealed he was offered a place on a series of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. The notoriously cantankerous Mancunian said he turned down the chance to replace John Lydon when he walked out of the jungle in 2004. Smith confirmed that the follow-up to The Fall's Your Future, Our Clutterwill be out next year, and that it sounds like "Greek heavy metal".
