KT Tunstall has publically denounced her stepfather, who is running as a candidate for the British National Party in the UK general election. Tunstall was given up for adoption by her birth mother and didn't grow up with David Orr, but whe was quick to issue a statement disassociating herself from his politics. Orr described his stepdaughter as "one of the greenies, the yoghurt-knitters."
