Fuel to the fire

Former Creation Records boss Alan McGee has stirred up controversy yet again by revealing he thought the fire at the Sony Warehouse in London, which was destroyed by looters, was “funny”.

McGee, who was giving a keynote speech at Australia’s Big Sound music conference, said: “I’m probably the only person who thought that was funny. I call that a result. Got rid of all the shit music.”
